Exhibition and Gallery Quality Colour and Black and White Giclee Prints up to A3+

We print from any (up to 6cm x 12cm) colour or Black and White negatives and slides, and digital image files, and produce prints in colour or monochrome. All prints are made on quality heavy weight gloss or pearl paper with genuine Canon Chroma Life 100 inks to ensure long lasting print quality. Files are optimised in Photoshop prior to printing to produce excellent quality prints. Instructions regarding contrast or colour saturation etc. will be followed. Prints can be supplied on a variety of fine art papers too. Please call or email for details of available papers and print prices.

Black and White prints from negatives or digital files on genuine Ilford silver gelatine black and white paper.

All negatives are scanned and optimised before printing on traditional silver based papers for that traditional quality black and white print. Dodging and burning in can be applied much more precisely on a computer than by hand shading under an enlarger to produce prints of very high quality. Dust spots often seen on traditional prints are also eliminated by printing this way.

Scanning and Printing from old negatives and Prints.

One of our specialties is scanning and making prints from old negatives and slides. We retouch the scanned images in Photoshop to remove as many blemishes as possible without compromising the image quality. We do restore colour to faded slides and negatives prior to printing. If the colour can not be restored we can of course print from colour slides and negatives in black and white. We charge an additional fee of either £1.00 or £2.00 for the scan and retouching service in addition to the print prices below per print, depending on the the amount of work necessary prior to printing. The oldest negatives we have produced prints from dated back to the 1920's.

NB - 110 size negatives are only really suitable for 6x4 or at at max 7x5 scans/prints.
